Charles G. Ballhorn, 73, former member of the county board, died this morning after a long illness at his home in the village of Bear Creek.
Born June 27, 1869, in Cascade, Wis., he spent his early life there. He worked at Seymour and moved to Bear Creek after his marriage, where he was in the hardware business 20 years. Mr. Ballhorn served as postmaster at Bear Creek for 14 years. He served on the Outagamie county board of supervisors for several terms.
Survivors are the widow; one son, Gordon, Minneapolis, Minn, one granddaughter; two brothers, Fred, Bear Creek; George, Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the residence and at 2 o'clock at Christus Lutheran church, Clintonville, with burial in the Graceland cemetery at Clintonville.
