Edward A. Fenner, 41, of 3 Washington St., Warren died in New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston, after a short illness. He was the husband of Patricia (Salls) Fenner.
He was born in Worcester, son of Edward Fenner and the late Mrs. Mildred (Esty) Fenner, and had lived in Warren 28 years.
He was a machinist for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford, CT.
He was a Korean War veteran and a past commander of the American Legion Post 252, West Warren. He was adjutant of the post at the time of his death. He was a member of Post 8606, Veterans of Foreign Wars of West Warren.
At the time of his death, besides his widow, and father of Spencer, he left three sons, Edward, James and William Fenner, all of Warren; a brother, Walter Esty of Ware; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hoffey of Ware, Mrs. Eleanor Honyer of New Haven, Mo., Mrs. Mildred Small and Mrs. Marion Malboeuf, both of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 27th in the Doherty Funeral Home, Bacon Street, with the Rev. Martin E. Cernak officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, January 26th.
