(Photo: Mamie Augusta Hall (Gussie) cropped from a photo of 11 girls in white dresses. Her tombstone states her name spelled as 'Agusta' which could be an error. Her death certificate states 'Augusta')
Gussie was the daughter of Dr. John A Hall and Minnie Augusta Marcus. Her siblings were Barney Marcus Hall, and Willie A. Hall (Hargrave). She went by the nick-name of Gussie. Gussie never married. All census list her as born in Alabama which is where her parents were from and her younger brother was born. The obit and death certificate states she was born in Tennessee which is probably an error.
