Richard F. Abrams, 86, a longtime Henryetta businessman, died Monday at an Oklahona City nursing home.
A native of Missouri, he worked for Long-Bell Lumber Co. for many years. He was an assistant store manager in Independance, Kan., until 1926 when he transferred to the Long-Bell store in Henryetta to take over as manager.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in France with the 89th Division.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janet Hicks and Mrs. Virginia Hamilton, both of Oklahoma City; one son, John Abrams, of Oklahoma City; one sister, Estel Hansen, Billings, Mont.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass will be at 1 p.m. today at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel.
