Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, LeClaire.
Rev. Neal died Monday, May 25, 1998, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
He was employed 28 years in the maintenance facility at Aluminum Company of America, Davenport Works. He retired in 1993.
He was born Aug. 18, 1929, in Sunnybrook, Ky., to William A. and Mallie Lee (Frost) Neal. He married Carolyn Kelley on March 1, 1959 in Coal Valley.
He was a member of Full Gospel Church of God, Silvis, where he served as a minister. He was ordained in 1988 under the World Christianship Ministries. He also was a member of Union Local 105. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include his wife; daughters and sons-in-law, Steve and Velma Kopatich, Rapids City, Ill., Roger and Lolita Dell, Davenport, Orton and Loretta Hoxie, Bettendorf, Joe Jr. and Rhonda Trujillo, LeClaire, and Melissa Gillespie, LeClaire; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and brothers, Thomas Neal, Dover, N.C., and Jimmy Neal, Monticello, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
