Buried at St.Mary's Church, Copythorne, Hants. Gravestone seen on 08/10/2007 by Steven and Beverley Palmer. Inscription reads - IN LOVING MEMORY OF GEORGE WHETREN WHO DIED APRIL 8TH 1892 AGED 68 YEARS "GOD BE MERCIFUL TO A SINNER" LUKE XVIII.13. ALSO CHARLOTTE THE BELOVED WIFE OF THE ABOVE WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE AUGUST 26TH 1899 AGED 74 YEARS. ROCK OF AGES CLEFT FOR ME LET ME HIDE MYSELF IN THEE. -SAP/BP
