Services Friday For Mrs. Edna Argabright
Services for Mrs. Edna Argabright of Emmetsburg will be held Friday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Martin-Bails Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. The Rev. Larry Davis will officiate.
Burial will be in Rush Lake Cemetery at Curlew. The Martin-Bails Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Casket bearers are Mrs. Argabright's grandsons: Marion Argabright, Darryl Halcomb, Howard Argabright, Karen Halcomb, Shane Boles and Huey D. Halcomb.
Mrs. Argabright died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1983, at her home in Emmetsburg. She was 89.
Edna Viola (Kerr) Argabright was born Jan. 7, 1894, in Bloomington, Ill. She was the daughter of Lee and Evelyn (Souls) Kerr.
On Nov. 12, 1912, Edna and E. H. Argabright were married in Nevada, Ia. She had lived most of her life in Emmetsburg.
Survivors include two children, Henry Lavern Argabright of Emmetsburg and Mrs. Carl (Viola Marie) Satterlee of Emmetsburg; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Henry (Ina) Lammers of Graettinger.
Mrs. Argabright was preceded in death by her husband, E. H. Argabright, on Dec. 19, 1962; her parents; a sister, Bertha Kildahl and two brothers, Frank and Marion Argabright.
