Mrs. Lillian M. Carlyle, 94, died Oct. 31 in a nursing home at 520 E. Morse, where she lived. She was born in Doniphan, MO., and had lived in this area 50 years. Mrs. Carlyle was a licensed practical nurse before she retired in 1962. She had also taught in rural Missouri schools. Mrs. Carlyle was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kan., and had been a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Gladiola Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Feryne Wittenberg, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Loren Randel, Jefferson City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Bealmear, Marceline, Mo.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were Nov. 3 at the Porter Chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan. The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church of Climax Springs, Mo.
