He married second Mary Elizabeth Moore on March 7, 1982.
They had three children: Virginia White Kennedy, Mabel White Ruggles Bishop and Roy Moore White.
His father, Milton Bailey White, apparently deeded some farm ground to him. I can remember staying with Grandma White in the farm house. There was no electricity, running water or a furnace. There was an old fashioned wall telephone. Edward was involved with the phone company in Forest City. That is probably the reason they had a phone. The phone still worked when I visited Grandma White. She would have to shoo us away from the phone.
Kim Williams Henry is the one who gave me the information about Edward J. White. Her father, Wayne Williams, has given me more family information over the years. Thanks to Kim and Wayne.
