Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" DeFriese, 86, died Friday Afternoon at his residence, 3320 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, TN. For a number of years he made his home with his nephew, Arnold Gross. He was a member of the Red Bank Baptist Church. Mr. DeFriese was the husband of the late Mrs. Evalina Gross DeFriese. He is survived by one brother, W. A. DeFriese of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the West Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Collins officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery
