Frederick Achziger, 68, died Tuesday at his home in Prosser.
He was born in Bridger, Mont, and moved to Prosser with his family at the age of 6.
Prior to retirement, he was street superintendent for Prosser for over 26 years. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn; daughters Kitty, Prosser, Cheryl Dean, Seattle; son Gary, Prosser; stepdaughters Nadine Lemmon, Rose Bell and Kimberlee Flett, all of Prosser, Pauline Olson, Prosser; brothers Ted and Adam, both of Prosser, Sam, Yakima, Clarence, Tacoma; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren
