Bridget immigrated from Ireland with Michael Brady whom she married about 1850-51. They had 11 children after arriving in Illinois. Her obituary in The Fair Dealer newspaper in Ottawa states: "Mrs. Bridget Brady died at her home in Ottawa this week, from paralysis, aged 65 years." Her estate papers indicate that Michael died in 1899. His obit was located and he died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1899. Bridget is survived by ten children, James, William, Charles, Elizabeth Kahn, Kate Rapp, George, Edward, John and Alice.

There was a fire at St. Columba Cemetery in the early 1900s; the stones were read in 1935 but no stones for Brady.
