MRS. ALBERT BENSON RITES ARE FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Benson, 73, of 2717 House Ave., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Schrader Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Walkley will officiate.

Mrs. Benson died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 13, 1901, in Cheyenne and had lived here all her life.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Airport Golf Club and was a past matron of Oak Leaf Chapter No. 6, Order of Eastern Star.

She and Albert Benson were married Jan. 11, 1919.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Benson is survived by four children, Mrs. W. R. Hovis, the former Dorothy Benson, of Casper; James A. Benson of Long Beach, Calif.; Robert F. Benson of Reno, Nev.; and John W. Benson of Cheyenne; a brother and three sisters, Fred Lugviel of Los Vegas, Mrs. Ed Boyle of Cheyenne, Mrs. Marie Jackson of Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Ed Menager of Downey, Calif. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
