Milton was the son of Daniel Armstrong and Laura Weeks. He married Sarah Ann Snoad. He was the father of Savilla, Myron and Lulu Armstrong.
Milton was a veteran of the Civil War. He enlisted in Company K, 25th Regiment, Wisconsin Infantry. He mustered out 7 Jun 1865 at Crystal Springs, Maryland.

Milton Armstrong, was the son of Daniel and Laura (Weeks) Armstrong, he was born in Granby, Oswego County, NY. Milton moved with his family to Kane County, IL., when he was 9 years of age, he remained there three years, and then moved to Jefferson, WI. He was married 12 Nov 1856 to Sarah Ann Snoad, in Adams County, WI. Sarah was the daughter of William and Frances Melissa (Smith) Snoad, she was born in Rochester, NY. The couple had three children, Savillie, Myron and Lulu. Mr. Armstrong came to Ableman, Sauk Co., in 1868, where he is now engaged in the boot and shoe business.
