Edwin Lee (Edd) Abercrombie, age 64, of Houston, Texas died Wednesday October 30, 1991 in Houston after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Sat November 2, in the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Houston.

Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery.

Mr. Abercrombie was a veteran of World War II having severed with the U. S. Navy. After his service career, he became a machinist for Nabisco where he was employed until he acquired his own business, Abbby's Machine and Welding. He had been retired from this business for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vallie Abercrombie of Houston, Texas; one son, Thomas Abercrombie of Houston; his mother, Mrs. Dora Abercrombie of Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Myrle A. Nunn of Hodge; three brothers, Doyle Abercrombie of Houston, Donald Ray Abercrombie of Jonesboro and James Huebert Abercrombie of Monroe; and many other relative in this area.
