Claudis Anderson
Perry - Claudis Anderson, 65, of 430 Riley St., died Sunday in a Macon hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Perry. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens.
The Reverends Ariail, Hodges and Teresi will officiate.
Mr. Anderson, a native of Covington, had lived in Perry most of his life and was retired from Penn-Dixie Cement Corp. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry, the American Legion and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sara Y. Anderson of Perry; a son, Alfred Anderson of Perry; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Kemberly and Miss Alice Anderson, both of Cochran, and Mrs. Lillie Horne of Jacksonville, Fla.
Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
