Born May 12, 1903 Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Scranton) Monjar. She married Oran Calvert who survives.
A former bookkeeper with the Ambraw Gravel Company, she was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
Other survivors include three sons, Marvin of Blackwood, N.J., Thomas of Lawrenceville, and David of Schertz, Texas;; a daughter, Marjorie Reed of Lawrenceville; a sister, Lela Payne of Lawrenceville; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A brother is deceased.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. CST Thursday at the Emmons-Macey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Friends may call frm 6 to 9 p.m. CST Wednesday
