Lewis/London Family Notes* it is written by Ina Lee Lewis:
"After massacre, Katherine and her four surviving children
moved to Cole City where they lived with her sister and
brother-in-law, Juda and John LONDON. When Walker and
J.B. (brothers) were old enough they returned to the
mountain [Boston?], married and claimed family property.
They built up businesses farming, operating a sawmill, a flour
mill and some other things in partnership with their in-laws,
the Morris family, and with some of their Morris connections,
the Wood family. At age 14, Vesta [Buenavista] married her
cousin, Rufus Huston LONDON, and moved to Texas until the
Civil War ended when they returned to Cole City."
