Agnes "Aggie" M. Brunner, 77, of Cook, died at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 7, 2006. Agnes was born on January 25, 1929, at Rauch, the daughter of Anthony and Josephine (Kovach) Rauch. She grew up in Rauch and attended the Harrigan School and the Orr School. After school, she moved to Chisholm and met Kenneth Brunner at the café where she worked. They were married on April 23, 1949, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Greaney. They moved to Cook in 1952, where they raised their four children. Aggie worked for Hill Wood Products for eighteen years and retired in 1985. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, gardening, baking, bowling and spending time with family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She belonged to bowling teams, and was a member St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cook, and its Council of Catholic Women. She and Ken were also members of the Gold Wing Road Riders.

She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony Rauch in 1972, her mother Josephine Rauch in 1988' two brothers, Anthony "Tony" Rauch in 1989, and Ambros Rauch who died in infancy in 1927.

Arrangements are with the Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday (August 11th) at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Cook. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Fr. Joseph M. Thomas MCBS will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the Cook Community Cemetery.
