He was born February 10, 1931 in South Bend, Ind., to Rex and Myrtle (Saddison) Andrews. Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country from 1951 through 1955. He was stationed in the Philippines during the Korean War.
Don worked for years as a supervisor for Manton Industries. He enjoyed his animals and the outdoors. He also enjoyed going for walks in and around his neighborhood.
Don is survived by two daughters; Dorothy Dils of Kalkaska and Kathy (Gordon) Greenwell of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Sherry (Chris), Heather, Ryan (Jamie) and Conrad; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly (Rich) Johnson; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa; four brothers and sisters: Betty, Dorothy, Jack, and Harold.
