Born the 8th of 13 children to William and Rose (Gaboury) Beveridge. Pat had 5 sisters and 7 brothers. He was given the name Patrick because he was born on "St. Patrick's Day". He and 9 siblings lived to adulthood.
Patrick married Gerry Lambert in Dec 1941. To their union was born Charleen Ann (Jan.1945) Patrick Elner (July 1947) Brent Lambert (Feb 1950)
Patrick served his country with distinction in World War II achieving the rank of 2 LT as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the Air Combat Missions of the Balkans. He was decorated with the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, the Bronze Star Distinguished Unit Badge, the American Theater Service Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. He retired in July 1970 with the Department of the Army/Procurement where he served as a DDO (Drawing & Disbursement Officer). Pat's reputation and work ethic included efficiency at the highest possible level with unquestionable integrity. He was a smiling/laughing co-worker with his sparkling personality. Pat was an admired superior known to respect all employees within his charge.
Patrick died suddenly and without warning after his first heart attack (myocardial infarction). This happened only 4 months after his retirement from the Dept of the Army.
