Brent quietly left the pain of his year long battle with cancer behind him and entered into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ. Brent's joyful smile and the lifting of his hand was witnessed by his wife, Donna, as he departed for Heaven's glory to prepare for the blessed reunion to come.
Brent was born to Patrick Leo and Geraldine Janice (Lambert) Beveridge in Ogden Ut 1950. He graduated from Walnut Ridge High School (1968) in Columbus,Ohio. He began his higher education at Otterbein College then graduated with a B.A in Political Science from Ohio State University (1972). During his last two years at Ohio State, he was employed part-time at Coca-Cola. Upon his college graduation he accepted a full time position and quickly promoted up the Coca-Cola corporate ladder. He served as Plant Manager in Phoenix,AZ. then Human Resources Manager at corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, TN. The remainder of his tenure was at Houston Coca-Cola Bottling in Texas where he served as Director of Fountain Operations, Director of Planning & Development, Vice-President Sales & Marketing and Vice President of Finance.
He retired after 22 years of loyal service. During his retirement he found great joy and fulfillment working part-time with Humble ISD as he encouraged, taught and grew to love special needs children.
Brent was an adoring and proud father considering his children his greatest accomplishments. (Brenna Anne -1977) (Charles Patrick -1979). He lived quietly and happily with his wife of ten years, Donna Pauline Beveridge. Together they enjoyed the simple pleasures of gardening, helping at their church, family gatherings and being "Grandpa & Nana" to Shelby Anne during her first beautiful six years. Brent was a loved and active member of Heritage Baptist Church in Humble, TX.
He was preceded into eternal life by his beloved father, Patrick Leo Beveridge, by his friend & brother-in-law, Buck White and by his precious nephew, Darryl Bowman. Left to treasure his memory are his wife Donna, his children and their families, his mother Geraldine Beveridge Greenwell, his brother Pat with his wife Pam, his sister Charleen with her daughters Lorie & Traci, his mother-in-law Zelma Cox, his sister-in-law Ladean Bowman with her husband Jerry and by his nephews Terry and Noel with his wife Christina.
After Brent's salvation and shortly before he was baptized at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Brent was asked....if someone should ask you at the gates of Heaven 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO DESERVE TO COME IN'....his heartfelt reply was, "I'll tell them I did nothing to deserve it, Jesus did it all for me".
ஜ The world and it's desires shall pass away but the man who does the will of God will live forever ஜ I John 2:17
