Services for Reba C. Bethany, 82, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church's Bowman Chapel with the Rev. J. Waid Griffin, a retired Methodist minster officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died at 6:00 a.m., Tuesday at a Lubbock residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Jerrel and moved to Lubbock in 1930. She married Roy C. Bethany on December 12, 1926 in Wolfforth, Texas. She worked for Hemphill Wells Department Store for many years until retiring in 1978. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Sorosis Sunday School Class. Her husband died on October 2, 1970.
Survivors include two brothers, Clifford Edney of Oceanside, California and Clyde Edney of Vista Park, California.
Pallbearers will be Jack Marshall, Fred Hinderer, Johnny Davis, David Davis, and Daniel Roberts.
