|Birth: ||Jul. 15, 1756|
New York, USA
Moses has been proven by DNA testing of his descendants to be the son of James and Mary (Sanders) Barden/s. DNA also proves this line did not descend from William Barden of Plymouth Colony.
Moses was married to Catherine Cook. "The Barden-Bardeen Genealogy" reports Moses died at the home of their daughter, Olive Bardeen Brooks who lived in Sherburne, NY. Grave site is unknown - other relatives by the name of "Moses Bardeen" are buried in the Segar Cemetery, New York.
There's a record of "Final Payment Vouchers" for a Moses 'Bardean'. Date of death is November 10, 1843 in Albany County, New York. Unclear if the record is for this Moses Bardeen, who doesn't show up as head of household in the 1840 Federal Census. Thus far, Albany County Cemeteries haven't shown this person in their censuses.
