A resident of Zachary, she passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at age 45. Survived by her husband, Robert Gay, two sons, Robert Gay, Jr. and Justin Jarreau, daughter, Jessica Jarreau Martinez and son-in-law, Jeremy Martinez, grandson, Jace, two granddaughters, Morgan and Emily, parents Harvey and Faye Gaspard, sister Terri Gaspard, nephew, D'Wayne and wife Sheraya Flournoy and great niece, Myiah. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Burtie Pecanty and paternal grandmother, Rose Ella Gaspard. Family and friends will be received at her parents' home on Sunday, June 22, from 11 am until 2 pm to share memories of her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
