He married (1) MARY HARRIS February 03, 1789 in Granville, Co. N.C., daughter of RICHARD HARRIS and PRISCILLA WHITE. She was born 1770 in Granville, Co. N.C., and died May 04, 1831 in Bedford, Co. Tenn. He married (2) ROSANNAH BARRINGER Aft. 1832 in Bedford Co. Tenn.. She was born March 28, 1785 in VA, and died December 07, 1875 in Bedford Co. TN.

We reposing special Trust and Confidence in your
Patriotism, valour, conduct and abilities, do, by these
presents, constitute and appoint you Captain in the Duch
District. Witness Richard Dobbs Spaight, Esquire, our
Captain-General and Commander in Chief, under his hand
and seal which he has caused to be hereto affixed, at
New Bern on the 10th day of Dec. A.D. 1793, and in the
15th year of our Independence.

I Elijah Parker Senr. of Bedford County and State of Tennessee being in my
usual state of health and mind do constitute and make this my last will and
testament revoking all other -- it being my desire to do Justice to all my
several sons and daughters.
I keep a Book where in I have set down in my own hand wrighting all the
property that I have given them as apart of there legacy, and the price an next
to the same and if I hearafter should give property to any of my children it
will be found enterd on s'd book and the different sums charg'd in s'd Book is
to be good and vallid against them as part of there lgacy or the whole as the
case may be - -
item it is my will and sesire that all my property that I may die in
possession off shall be sold on a twelve month's credit and after paying my
just and honest debts to be equally divided between them all my children to
wit Lucy Beasley Salley McGill Samuel Parker Richard Parker Priscilla Chappell
Jonathan Parker Elijah Parker Susanna Sugg Charles Parker James H. Parker Nancy
Parker and Daniel Parker - now that I may be better understood my wish is that
the whole amount charged on the Book and the whole amount of the sales of the
property shall be sum'd up together and the twelfth part of that amount is to
be each child's part
I leave Elijah Parker Jonathan Parker Charles H. Parker and James H. Parker
Executors to this my last Will and testament - in witness whereof I have hear
