Genevieve Josephine Glab was born 16 Apr 1924 in Baltimore, the daughter of Jozef M Glab and Antonina Gembala Glab, both immigrants from Poland. She was the younger sister of Chester and Joseph and older sister to Mary and Bernard. Her brothers preceded her in death. She married Adam F Rybczynski (pronounced rib-CHIN-ski), with whom she had three children - Frank, Edward and Patricia. Adam passed away in 1976.
I sadly never got to meet Jenny, but I am lucky to be friends with her daughter, Pat, and her granddaughter Dawn. Jenny was a beloved mother and grandmother, who is terribly missed by her family. She was all about family and loved to play Bingo with her girls, and there's rarely a time when I'm hanging out with Dawn that Jenny doesn't enter the conversation, always with love and admiration.
Jenny was survived by her children, Frank Rybczynski and life partner Ron Drisko, Patricia Trompeter and husband John, and Ed Rybczynski and wife Andrea; her grandchildren, Dawn and Kimberly Trompeter and Adam J Rybczynski; her sister, Mary Williams and husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews.
