Bradley Kent Allen passed away on Dec. 19, 2005 at his vacation home in the Colorado Rockies. He was born on Feb. 15, 1947 to Marion and Ina Allen. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his son Phillip of San Marcos, Mike and his wife Rebecca and their children Natalie and Audrey of Gainesville, Fl. and Mark and his wife Mylinda and their children Holden and Micheal of Odessa. He has a brother-in-law, Carl Bunch who resides in California and he has one brother, Mike Allen, who lives in Ft. Worth.

Brad loved the outdoors and spent all the time he could with his family hunting, fishing, playing golf and traveling. He and his father owned Allen and Sons Inc. and designed and built safety equipment for oil rigs from 1976-1984. He was very involved in his sons' football careers at Permian High School and loved the friendships he acquired from both coaches and players. He never believed in the term "quality time", rather, he said "If you're there every day there is no need for quality time."

The family would like to give a special thanks to Rusty Millican for the love and dedication that he gave to "Pop" during the final days of his life.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Second Baptist Church of Odessa.
In lieu of flowers we would appreciate any donations made to: Hospice of the Gunnison Valley, 1500 W. Tomichi, Gunnison, Co. 81230.
