This memorial is dedicated solely to Gerrick, my son, and is sacred and placed on Find A Grave exclusively.

Gerrick was born on a mild winter day in January. That day was the happiest day of my life, when I gave birth to my son. He was a beautiful baby, my pride and joy, my baby boy. My baby grew into a wonderful, caring, giving young man. He was loving, kind and gentle, and he had a big kind heart and soul. He was shy, modest and polite. He was humane; always civil in the way he lived and treated others. He was genuine, honest trusting and true. He was so positive about every issue. He respected others and he was very dependable. He would do anything to help anyone. He loved life. His laugh was hearty and his smile always made me happy. He was serious as well. Gerrick was good-natured; an independent free spirit who cared deeply about his family, friends and fellowman. His life was full of promise and he was only a teenager. He had just turned 18 years old. My child was so happy to turn 18, a real milestone. He was just starting his young life and future. He was a very special devoted son brother uncle nephew great-nephew and friend. My one and only beloved son was my world. He made life a gift. My eyes lit up every time I looked into his handsome face. I'm empty and lost without him. I long for my Gerrick every second of every day and love and miss him more than words can ever say.

Gerrick was at home minding his own business when he was murdered. I will never ever forget that heartbreaking horrifying day. While I was out, I was calling Gerrick on his cell phone and he wasen't answering. He didn't answer our home phone either. I knew where he was. He was safe at home. When I got home I found my precious son Gerrick lying on his bedroom floor brutally murdered. That was the saddest, worst day of my entire life, something that is unimaginable to most people. I think about my child lying there every day and I mourn for him and miss him more and more every moment.

A special heartfelt thank you to Wendyforever21 for doing this site, and to Cindy Kaut-White for sponsoring it. A special heartfelt thank you to Tony's mom, Michelle, as well for the beautiful pictures she added for my son. And, for all those that came by and left flowers notes and moving pictures, thank you. Gerrick and I appreciate it.
Thank you for stopping by,
Diane Davies, Gerrick Davies mother forever

Cause of Death: MURDERED

The remember me photo in blue was added by Kim, who sadly passed away after her daughter Kaylin. This photo is dedicated to her. In memory of Kimberly Denise Smith Lasater, who is on this site, but I do not know how to link.

Many heartfelt thanks to MRS.STEPHENRAYVAUGHAN!!! for making and adding the lovely picture of my son on what would have been his 29th birthday.

01/17/2022 - My dear lovely friend Brenda, who added this memorial for my son here, is sadly now on this site. It is heartbreaking to add her name here, I could never adequately convey what a kind, wonderful , very special best friend she is to me. I miss and love her so very much. She meant the world to me. We were born in the same year.
