Dominique Dashaun Mckinney was born in Battle Creek Michigan August 1, 1989 to Kia Townsend-Williams and Lerone McKinney. Dominique had a electrifying smile that always warmed the hearts of those with whom he came in contact. Dominique was an outstanding athlete at Battle Creek Central High School excelling in baseball, football and softball , in addition he was accomplished in the performing arts. Dominique is survived by his mother, father, and stepfather Leodis Williams, son Je'mear McKinney, brother Lerone, with whom he lived and ten other loving brothers and sisters. Also a special friend Jessica Clark.

Visitation will be at Bachman Hebble Funeral Home Thursday July 23, 2009 after 3 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday July 24, 2009 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the First Assembly of God with the pastor Ivan Lee officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetary.

Memorial tributes may be made to the boys and girls club or Cereal City Hoopsters.
