Elizabeth J. Robertson was married to Andrew B. McWilliams 23 July 1807 in Warren Co., KY. William Williams and Abner Robertson served as securities. She was born in SC, daughter of Abner and Eleanor(Moorehead) Robertson. Elizabeth had moved with her parents from SC to Ky. Andrew and Elizabeth were early settlers in North AL.They first settled near Huntsville, AL on the TN River in 1812. After a few years Andrew acquired property in Limestone Co. in 1818. They settled about 5 miles north of Athens where they remained until Andrew's death. They built a log home near Muddy Creek.
