Dr. Robert Bridgforth Williams was the son of Dr. George Allen Williams(1850-1922)from Pontotoc Co. MS and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mariah Bridgforth(1860-1910)from Limestone Co. AL. Robert married Mamie Legg(1894-1981) 28 Dec 1912 in Limestone Co. AL. The ceremony was performed by Bilt White. Robert was a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville and was considered to be a physician held in high regard in the community. He and Mamie had two children: i. Wildeen(1914-?) md Henry Mazyck ii. Robert Vaughan Williams (1924-1979)md. Nancy Lee Sanford (1929) of Huntsville, AL.
