Eleanor F. Albright, 71, Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Altoona Regional Health System, Seventh Avenue Campus Emergency Department.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of Albert C. and Edith M. (Clapper) Weyandt.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Robert A. Albright; four daughters: Roberta Crist and husband, Ronald, Robin Barton and husband, Fred, Rebecca Schmelzlen and husband, Philip, and Regina Murphy and husband, Mike; three sons: Robert and wife, Karen, Randy and wife, Paula, and Renold and wife, Donna; nine grandchildren; and two siblings: Evelyn Lack and Robert.
Eleanor was a 1957 graduate of Roaring Spring High School. She was a member of Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church and was involved with 4-H. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, and gardening and was known as the Bell Lady at the Altoona Curve games.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg (www.sorgefuneralhome.com), where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday by Father Brian R. Saylor. Interment will be at McIntire Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
