Lance C. Aagard 1947 ~ 2005 Lance Charles Aagard passed quietly from this life to return to his Heavenly Father, whom he dearly loved, Feb. 8, 2005, at his home in Tooele, Ut. due to complications from surgery to remove a brain tumor.
Lance was born January 26, 1947, in Tooele, UT, to James Conard and Lila Sylvia Richens Aagard. He grew up and attended Tooele schools, graduated from Snow College and BYU, and served an honorable LDS mission in the East Central
States. On June 2, 1972, he married his best friend and soulmate, Mauna Phillips, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they raised four wonderful children whom he loved deeply and was so proud of. He loved being Grandpa to
Sariah and Lance Joseph. Lance loved his Savior. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is a high priest in the Melchizedek priesthood. He was employed by the Utah State Tax Commission and
as a part-time UTA bus driver. Lance is survived by his wife, Mauna, his parents, mother-in-law, Shirley Bingham (who loved him as a son), children, Kimberly Aagard, Andrew (Kristy) Aagard, Vanessa (Brian) Lucas, Nathan (Katja) Aagard, and six brothers and sisters.
