Dillard Alexander, 42, 4636 W. Huron, Chicago, Ill., died Wednesday at ECM Hospital.
He was a native of Lawrence, employed as an enrober operator. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 738.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Ford City Baptist Church with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 in Friendship Cemetery, near Moulton, Morrison-Elkins of Florence directing.
The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to the service when it will be placed in the church.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Jeanette Chaban Alexander; two daughters, Miss Suzanne Alexander, Chicago, Mrs. Jimmy Uhlman, Tuscumbia; a son, Stephan Alexander, Chicago; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Alexander, Sheffield, six sisters, Mrs. Irene Barnett, Moulton, Mrs. Christine Deleshaw, Trinity, Mrs. Lorene McGee, Sheffield, Mrs. Caladean Brown, Sheffield, Mrs. Willardean Osborn, Leighton, Josephine Alexander, Leighton; two brothers, Dallas Alexander, Florence, Delaner Alexander, Decatur; three grandchildren.
Bearers will be Dan Holt, Bud Holt, Billy Wade, Emmett Derrick, Bennie Frank Letsinger, Jimmy Garner.
