Born to Fred D. and Ruthalene Butler in Fullerton California. He lived most of his life there except the time he served in the United States Air Force from 1965 through 1967. He and his wife, Denise Blondon Butler whom he married Aug 2 1966 in Hemet, California, traveled all over the country during that time then moved to Joplin Mo in 1977. At the time of his death he had been working for Wal-Mart on 15th and Rangeline in the produce department and had been a meat cutter in the grocery business most of his adult life. He was a man that everyone loved. He had a great enjoyment of life and was helpful to everyone he met. Friends, family, co-workers and customers will miss his warm smile and compassionate ear. He was a beloved husband and father who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Daniel Butler. He is survived by his wife, two daughters Shawnda Butler LaBlanc and husband James, Staci Butler Shepherd and husband Scott,his mother, another brother Michael Butler and wife Jerrie and four grandchildren: Alexander Butler, Zathe Shepherd, Raven Shepherd and Kiera Butler.
Services were held at a later date.
