Henry S. Adams, age 56, died at his home on rural route six at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon after a stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Adams suffered his first stroke November 10 and suffered the fatal stroke yesterday afternoon. Besides the wife, Mae, he is survived by one son, Orval Lewis Adams of Worthington; three daughters, Vesta and Emma, at home, and Mrs. Carrie Bonnette, of Lexington, Ky.; his father, Henry W. Adams, of Bloomington; three brothers Herman of Indianapolis, and Joseph and Newton of near Bloomington and three sisters, Mrs. Robert Perring of Indianapolis, Mrs. Howard Borland and Mrs. Mary S. Cox of Bloomington.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist church and also was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men.
The body will be removed to the home at 9 p.m. today and will lie in state there until 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Clear Creek Christian church at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Donovan Courville and the Rev. R. O. Pearson. Music will be in charge of Mrs. R. R. Kilpatrick. Mrs. Stanley Mitchell, Mrs. Sherman Wright and Mrs. William T. Languell.
Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Adams including Raymond, William and Edward Adams, Charles and Gail Drake and Ralph Butcher.
