Son of William Lee and Olivia [sic] Belle Abner. Born November 2, 1893, Cannelburg, Daviess County, IN. Moved to Martin County in 1908. Employee of Graham Glass Works, Okmulgee, OK. Entered service September 19, 1917 in Loogootee, IN. Trained at Camp Taylor, KY and Camp Shelby, MS. Embarked June 11, 1918. Assigned to Company E, 28th Infantry, 1st Division. Died of wounds October 13, 1918. Buried at Ambley, Aisne, France, Grave 8.
