Barbara D. Albright Haley, 84, of 1670 Wea School Road, died Friday, June 24, 2005, in her home. Born April 23, 1921, in Woodberry, AR, she was a 1939 graduate of Summerfield High School in Louisiana. Mrs. Haley served in the Army during World War II. She was stationed in Saipan and Korea from 1944 to 1946 and received the American Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.
She married George M. Albright, Jr. on May 31, 1947, and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1962. She married Donald Haley on Aug. 17, 1963, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Haley worked as a registered nurse at Home Hospital and St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was a charter member of the Mother of Twins Club and a member of the Lafayette China Painters. Mrs. Haley enjoyed china painting and gardening.
Surviving are a son, Ken Albright of Lafayette; and two daughters, Dolores Albright of Lafayette and Dotty (Mrs. John) Warmoth of Lebanon.
