Robert Joseph Aime died Thursday morning, Aug. 18, 1994, at his residence in James Island, S.C. He was 59, a native of Walker and resident of S. C. He was a retired master chief machinist mate with the U.S. Navy and retired ship superintendent from Charles Naval Shipyard. He was a mason and member of the Fleet Reserve and Elks Lodge.
Burial services Saturday, Aug. 20, at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Victory Aime of James Island, S.C.; two sons, William O. Aime of James Island and Robert L. Aime of Louisiana; a sister, Marcia Martin of Walker; a brother, Kenneth Aime of Satsuma; and one granddaughter.
He is the son of Joseph Otive Aime and Vida Bendily Aime. He attended Southeastern Louisiana State College and was of the Protestant faith.
