Evelyn C. Winslow, age 88, of Dushore, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA.

Evelyn was born in Philadelphia, on June 14, 1919 a daughter of the late Norman Stephen Castor and Martha D. Park Castor. She was raised in Philadelphia and resided in southern New Jersey and south east Pennsylvania until moving to Dushore in 2000.

She was also active in Girl Scouts for over 30 years and owned and operated a self service dry cleaning and laundromat business in Ewing, New Jersey. She managed a motel in Vero Beach, FL and was director of a Friend's boarding house for senior citizens in Trenton, NJ.

Evelyn enjoyed every moment in Sullivan County as she loved the outdoors, Indian lore, and watching quiz shows on television. She was also an ardent New York Met's fan and watched every televised game. She was predeceased by husbands, William L. Stewart Sr. and Don Winslow.

Two daughters and son-in-law: Joan Yates Morrisville, PA Isabella Martha (George) Hampton Breinigsville, PA

Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and two nieces.
