Joseph Leonard Cook of 405 Woodlawn Ave, Willow Grove, died suddenly at his home on Dec. 10th, at the age of 47.
He was a member of the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company, Willow Grove Fire Police, and Montco Five Waters CB Radio Club. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 25th, 1942 until February 5th, 1945.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean M. Hamilton Cook, two daughters, Virginia Mae and Margorie Ann, both of home, and three sisters, Louise Simon and Marguerite Titus both of New Albany, Indiana, and Viola Thornton of Henderson, Kentucky.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Dec.10, at 10:00 a.m. by the Rev. Alvin O. Shiffer from the Wetzel-White Funeral Home, Willow Grove.
He was cremated December 13, at Sunset Memorial Park in Somerton, Pa.
