Victor Leroy Clark (my granduncle) was born on 19 February 1886 in Taney City, Taney, Missouri. He was one of 14 children born to James Isaac Clark and Martha Frances (Reams) Clark.

Victor grew up on his family's farm in Taney County, Missouri, and moved out to California during the Great Depression. He hired on as a farm laborer in the orchards of Yuba County, living in Arboga. He joined with the Army during World War I.

Uncle Vic was a kind and generous man, who remained a batchelor his entire life, however helped to raise several nieces and nephews.

He was struck by a car, and killed on the night of 27 April 1955, while crossing Feather River Blvd. in Arboga Township. He was walking home from a visit with his nephew, Tom Clark & his family. (Dad would have driven him home, which was about a mile and a half from where lived, but Uncle Vic always preferred walking.)

He died at 69 years years of age.
