WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 1992 - LOTTIE PEARL SHIRLEY, 76-year-old resident of Woodward, died June 28, at the Woodward Hospital and Health Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m . Thursday, July 2, at the 5th Street Church of Christ with Brother James Rucker officiating. Burial will be in the Ekmwood Cemetery under the direction of Stecher Mortuary.
LOTTIE PEARL CAREY was born on March 8, 1916, on the family farm south of Fargo to Charles and Icelina Carey. Lottie was a graduate of Woodward High School. She married Floyd Maurice Shirley on May 16, 1936, at Taloga. Lottie
was a silk finisher with the Hunters Dry Cleaning Company from 1951 to 1979, she also worked for a short time with Jiffy Cleaners of Woodward. Lottie was a member of the fifth street Church of Christ in Woodward.
She is survivd by her husband, Floyd of the home, Woodward: by one son Travis M. Shirley and his wife, Karen, Shattuck: by one daughter Darlene Matheny, Woodward; by two sisters Mrs. Edna Waddle, Vici, and Opal Edwards, Woodward; by three grandchildren, Kim Forbes and husband Calvin, The Colony, Texas; Melissa
Spenser and her husband Todd, Woodward; and James Matheny, Woodward; and by three great grandchildren Clinton, C. Shirley and Travana Nichole Spenser, Woodward and Jeremy M. Forbes, The Colony, Texas.
Lottie was preceeded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
