JAMES R. GURNEY, JR. Beloved husband of Corinne for 19 years, he is also survived by his parents, James, Sr. and Alice Gurney; two sisters, Jean Rains and Alice Alspektor. Mr. Gurney worked for Lockheed Martin for over 20 years, living in Palmdale, California for four and a half years. He was awarded the Nova Award and Aerostar Award, two of the highest honors given by Lockheed. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Van Nuys Seventh Day Adventist Church, 14615 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, California. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
