Obituary: Torrance, CA DAILY BREEZE, Sat., May 7, 1977 C2

Services will be held Monday for John Bishop of Torrance, a lifetime resident of the south bay.
Mr. Bishop was born Oct. 27, 1948, in San Pedro and died May 5, 1977.
A Vietnam veteran, he was clerk for Armco Steel Corp. and a member of the Steel Workers Union No. 1414.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; two sons, David and Brian, both of Torrance; his mother, Gladys of Lomita; and four brothers,Bill of Colorado, Bob of Garden Grove, Ray of Westminster and Don of Texas.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. at the A. M. Gamby Mortuary chapel, Lomita. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park, San Pedro.
