Miss Laura Weaver Long and Francis M. Ainsworth were united in marriage last evening at the home of Rev. W.D. Parr, pastor of the Wayne Street M.E. church, at 5 o'clock. The groom is a fireman on the Pittsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Ainsworth will reside on Murray street.

Edward M. Ainsworth, formerly a fireman on the Pennsylvania lines, and residing in Fort Wayne, died Friday night at a hospital in Lafayette, from meningitis, at the age of 32 years.
Mr. Ainsworth left Fort Wayne three years ago to accept employment with an electric concern at Lafayette. His wife, who, with a babe of nine months, survives, is a daughter of Engineer J.E. Long, formerly of Fort Wayne, but now residing in Rome City. Engineer J.D. Trimble, at this city, is a cousin.
The remains were removed today to Monroeville, where the mother of the deceased resides, and where the funeral services will occur.
