Joseph Casey was born in County West Meath, Ireland. His family estate was named Bryanstown located in Mullingar. He immigrated to the United States in 1929 on the S.S. Cedric. He lived in the Bronx, NY for 53 years with his wife Hannah McAuliffe Casey. In 1979 they retired to Coventry, CT. To all who were blessed to know him he was one of the most talented story-tellers to ever spin a tale.
