French Actor and Radio personality.
A very talented Actor who was discovered whilst still a teenager by Jacques Feyder. The Belgian Director responsible for Greta Garbo's last silent film for MGM Studios, "The Kiss"
Jean is mostly remembered by his performance in the 1922 film 'Crainquebille' as Souris the young Lad who befriends an elderly vegetable Vendor in the streets of Paris.
In 1923 'Visages D'Enfants', as the Boy who lost his Mother... trying to come to terms to his new life with his Father marrying another Woman with a Child.
Then came 'Gribiche' in 1926. His last acclaimed Silent Film.
During the talkie era He shared the screen with French Cinema Legends such as Jean Marais, Harry Baur & Jean Gabin.
After his film years, he turned to Radio which proved to be a positive career move.
He won in 1951, Ex Aequo the first prize for 'Un Larme Du Diable' a radio adaptation from Theophile Gauthier.
Then in 1956 the piece from Jack Perret.'L'Examen De Calcul' which won Him the Prix Italian for Literary/Dramatic programmes in Rimini.
