Gloucester--- Lillian B. Adams, 89, wife of the late Alsen E. Adams, formerly of Gloucester, died on Thursday at the Den Mar Nursing Home in Rockport where she had resided the past year.
Born in Manchester- by- the- Sea, June 4, 1902, daughter of the late James B. and Margaret (McGinnis)Gray.
Graduate of Story High School in Manchester and from Salem Commercial School.
An active member of Trinity Congregational Church in Gloucester for many years, she served on numerous committees. She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Martha washington Chapter No. 21.
Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Raynor G. and Barbara Adams of Beverly; two grandchildren, Raynor G. AdamsJr. of Franklin and Richard A. Adams of Beverly; two step-grandchildren,John J. Yeomans of Orlando and Kity B. Townsend of Bradford; seven great-grandchildren; mant nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; she was predeceased by four sisters and four brothers.
Services at Trinity Congregational Church, Gloucester. Burial n Beechwood Cemetery, West Gloucester.
